Enterprise Mentoring Champion - Alan Goward

Alan is employed by Lloyds Banking Group and volunteers as a mentor with Business Mentors South West (BMSW). Alan mentors many businesses, including short term mentoring for those with an urgent need for support. He is a strong advocate for mentoring and works hard to promote its benefits, and to encourage new mentors, amongst his colleagues and the wider business community.

Alan regularly supports his organisation's communications activities and has recently written a blog on his experience of undertaking the Level 5 mentor champion qualification assignments, to help others completing this qualification. He regularly attends business events arranged by Business Mentors South West and was a guest speaker at a recent business growth event.

Alan champions mentoring in every aspects of his professional life and we are delighted to recognise his hard work with this award.
