IOEE Lifetime achievement award - Toni Mascolo OBE

One of the highlights of the Celebration Event was Toni Mascolo OBE winning the IOEE lifetime achievement award for his commitment to creating a unique educational system for TONI & GUY's salon employees across the world. 

Cav.Uff G T Mascolo OBE KCSG, co-founder of the Toni & Guy empire has enjoyed a career that spans nearly 50 years and has changed the face of modern hairdressing. Throughout the decades, the group has grown to 8000 employees, with over 400 salons in 41 different countries, and an annual turnover in excess of £175 million.

Widely recognised for introducing franchising to the UK Hairdressing industry, in addition to his business success, Toni has redefined the educational structure of hairdressing by creating a unique ongoing educational system for Toni & Guy. It's worldwide academies have become the backbone of the business and provided a blueprint for modern hairdressing and business enterprise education.

It was wonderful to welcome Toni to the event, and for him to spend time with the nominees for the Enterprising Learner award, who are just beginning their entrepreneurial journey.
