IOEE Status for Midlands Academy

A new, innovative enterprise academy for business support advisers and business leaders has been launched in the Midlands. The Midlands Business Leadership Academy (MBL Academy) is one of the new enterprise academies for the IOEE, providing professional business support qualifications for business advisers and effective leadership skills in business for entrepreneurs.

Sue Bedward, Director of Operations, is excited to be leading the academy and said:

“Our vision is to support the people at the heart of business –being an enterprise academy of the IOEE means that we can work to a nationally recognised quality standard in the professional development of business advisers across the Midlands. And it doesn’t stop there, MBL Academy will also provide ongoing CPD to our business advisers through mentoring, action learning sets and leadership coaching to ensure they provide person centred support to new businesses that come to them for support and advise.”

MBL Academy offers SFEDI Awards regulated qualifications, through it’s enterprise academy status, and provides leadership skills development for businesses through its finance, coaching, mentoring, leadership and organisational development programs delivered by their specialists Carol Howell, and Stephen Harris.

IOEE’s Chief Executive Sarah Trouten said:

“We’re delighted to welcome the Midlands Business Leadership Academy to IOEE. The team’s professionalism impressed the IOEE during the approval process and the high standard of their programmes will be a valuable development source for both business owners and business support professionals.”
