The IOEE is inviting enterprise educators working in IOEE Centres the length and breadth of the country to take the Lightbulb Challenge. Using their skill, ingenuity and dynamism, teachers, lecturers and other education professionals will spark their students to have an ‘enterprising lightbulb moment’ within their learning programme. The scope is wide and the possibilities almost endless, but the idea is to prompt innovative thinking, problem solving, great communication, risk taking and entrepreneurial resilience in students. Once the spark has been created and the connection made, we’re asking enterprise educators to tell us all about it in order to win the Lightbulb Challenge itself. The ultimate winners will be the teacher / lecturer and students who have shown themselves to be truly buzzing with ideas and enterprising potential. Their success will be recognised at the Celebrating Enterprise Awards 2016, held at the House of Lords.
