Next week, the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) is running an invaluable workshop in Manchester, for small and micro businesses.
The International Association of Book-keepers (IAB), which has over 10,000 members operating across 60 countries, is an influential organisation that sets professional standards and delivers qualifications. In addition to working with and for book-keepers themselves, the IAB also runs workshops for small business operating in other sectors. Next week, in Manchester, people from all sorts of micro and small businesses are invited to attend a workshop designed to deliver guidance on a number of key business areas. During the four-hour long event, speakers will deliver presentations on:
• How to successfully network in order to create a strong first impression
• Using Microsoft software to its fullest potential internally and on the cloud and how to safely and securely use today’s technology to grow your business
• Navigating the new pensions automatic enrolment legislation
• How the most recent budget’s effects may be felt and opportunities they may create.
This diverse range of topics really does mean that anyone who runs or owns a small or micro business will find their learning enriched by the workshop. The event takes place next Thursday, 19th May from 12.30 to 16.15 at HSBC’s commercial centre in Spinningfields, Manchester. You can book your place on the workshop here.
