The Celebrating Enterprise Awards are an annual celebration of the enterprising spirit in action. Taking place in November in a prestigious House of Lords setting, 2015’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever before, and right now we’re searching for its stars.
Do you know an individual who has gone above and beyond in the service of enterprise learning and skills in the UK? Or, perhaps you’d like to nominate an organisation that deserves special recognition for its endeavours in training, advocating or educating in the enterprise arena? We want you to put forward the very best and most inspiring stories. Like that of Professor Andy Penaluna, who was named 2014’s Enterprise Educator for his work in Creative Entrepreneurship at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David (UWTSD).
Or, maybe you’ve noticed the work of someone like Hak Salih, who last year won the accolade of Enterprising IOEE Member having voluntarily dedicated his valuable time and expertise to a huge number of grateful small businesses, via our Get Mentoring programme.
We’re also on the look out for exceptional institutions like Manchester College, which was named Enterprise Learning Provider of the year 2014 for its pioneering programmes taking enterprise learning into prisons. In fact, the college wasn’t the only organisation to put the great northwestern city on the enterprise map, as Manchester Metropolitan University was also recognised, as IOEE Centre of Excellence 2014.
There are an array of categories to fill, from Enterprise Mentoring Champion and The Get Started Award to Enterprise Ambassador and Enterprise Learner, and now’s the time to share your nominations!
The event itself is studded with fascinating speakers, ready to galvanise an audience of enterprise enthusiasts for another year of energetic enterprise work! Last year, Jackie Jenks of Lloyds Bank’s sterling enterprise mentoring programme, Fabian Hamilton MP and Toni Mascolo (of Toni & Guy fame) all appeared to rally the world of enterprise!
